This is the second book of The Six Tudor Queens series by Alison Weir. Anne Boleyn used to be my favourite until I’ve learned more about her and also until I’ve read more about Katherine of Aragon. Anne Boleyn was my favourite as I thought she was outspoken and had her own unchanging opinion, despite being Henry’s wife.
Six Tudor Queen 1: Katherine of aragon
Admit it. History lessons are often boring, right? How about a novel, based on historical facts even though it’s categorised as historical fiction? Yes, yes! I can recommend this book and I tell you why
The Perfect Prey – Helen Fields
This e-book has been left unread for quite a while since I had purchased it last year. This isn’t new, but the Dutch language version has just been released last year, and that’s why I wasn’t even aware. Although the first book in this D. I. Callanach series was impressive, this second book wasn’t as interesting as I had expected
The Binding – Bridget Collins
How would you wish that your unpleasant memories disappear? If you could bind those memories into a book, would you be willing to? Or would you consider those who have bound their memory into a book a cowards?
The Handmaid’s Tale – Margaret Atwood
I’ve decided to re-read this book. I know it’s not a new book and every bookworm probably has this one on their shelf. And I know that many people had already given their reviews before me, but I do still have something to say about this particular story.
De Dag van de Doden – Nicci French
Erg triest!
Sunday Morning Coming Down – Nicci French
The seventh book of Frieda Klein’s series. I’ve enjoyed reading it from the start til the end.
Dark Saturday – Nicci French
I’ve read this book last year, but I forgot to give my reviews. Well, as I am a fan of Nicci French, my review will be biased. However, my reviews are there also for my future self, to remind me that I’ve read it and to remember what I’ve read.
